It’s a brand new year, and I am going into it with some pretty amazing expectations. There has bee a lot of well-intentioned soul searching over the moments I get here and there between work with what I can do to make 2016 a great year. 2015 was filled with incredible opportunities, travel, and treats. However, I don’t want to live every day trying to top that. It was crazy good, and I will take any chance I can to continue like that, but living like that with no plan to maintain would be downright insane (especially for my bank account). So right now, I am settling back into things. Back into a gym routine, a bike routine and a dinner routine at home.
We let the holiday joy and hectic schedule run December with a lot of eating out. With no kids and a flexible schedule, it’s easy to justify. At the end of the week, though, it adds up, and I am far too cheap to be wasting money on halfhearted meals out when I can make some pretty darned amazing meals right at home. With that in mind, I am joining a group of kick butt bloggers as we bring you weekly meal plans. Every Saturday look for a little glimpse into our world and what will be on our tables for the week with hopes to inspire you to step up your personal Martha Stewart game and show just how amazing you can be in your own kitchen.
