Albion Fit Giveaway – Get Up and Move!

You all know I like to be active. Well… now I like to be active. Two years ago I would have been shoving another cookie in my mouth looking for an excuse to play video games until 4 in the morning. I guess buying a mountain bike changed that.

In two years I have become a hard core work out addict. I love riding my bike. I go in withdraw when I can’t. And heck, now I even enjoy running. Crazy, I know. I wasn’t over weight, I didn’t have a medical reason to start ‘working out’, the truth of the matter is, it was just plain fun. Handsome and I got bikes and hit some trails. We made friends, put miles in, and had days where we thought we would puke from stupid climbs.

Now, not riding is a hard choice.

Last winter, I started running on a treadmill to keep up my cardio in the cold months. I thought I would hate it. I thought it would be horrible… It’s not, I kind of loved it. With mountain biking you are in a zone, thinking about curves, corners, and weight. Running is a mindless zone of just putting one foot in front of another. And so I started some 5ks. And then I did a 10k 11.7k (that extra 1.7 count. A lot.)  and pulled my groin and have been laid up ever since. And I can’t tell you how much it’s driving me crazy.

Needless to say when Albion Fit asked me to give their product a review, we know I was honestly going to put it to the test. I put my gear through the works. Rinse, wash, repeat. But in a moment of stupidity, I chose to review a long sleeve jacket. Hello 90 degree summer with 50% humidity. Hello not wearing more than a tank top to run in months. Hello bad blogger planning.

Selected for you :   Aprons!

(I really wanna know what her work out is, cuz I ride every day and my booty don’t look that good)

What I can tell you about this jacket is that it’s made out of space age technology. Seriously, I’m pretty sure this is the fabric Black Widow’s outfit is made out of. The jacket fits. Honestly fits. It’s hard to find my size and it not be too baggy, to big, or otherwise not cut properly. For the first time ever, a small fits perfectly. And I love that. It has pockets and zippers everywhere. Which is pretty sweet if you don’t want to run with a lunky set of keys and can just pop one into the awesome arm band pocket and be on your way.

I was skeptical about a $98 dollar jacket. I mean, that is a ton of money. But then I zipped it up. Annnd yeah, I rather love it. Now, we just need a cold front to come through and I can do more than walk around my house in it. 😉

Won’t lie, for me it was this adorable bathing suite. But I realized that was terribly impractical as I never go swimming and own like three bikinis anyway.

Bonus! Want to splurge on something new without waiting to see if you’ve won? Use this code for 20% off your purchase!

Mamma needs a new bathing suite after all. 🙂
