Fresh Fruit Salad with Honey Lime Syrup

Whoever hit the fast forward button can stop now.  Seriously, I would like about 5 minutes to myself without anyone, including my over pushy personal bubble lacking cat who insists on opening the bathroom door and barging in invading my bubble. (Not happening)

Last week was a whirlwind of running (another great 5k – now time to upgrade), team meetings, website designs, an attempt to adopt a pup who is in need of some extra snuggles, dinner with friends, barbecues, chickens on BMX bikes, a remodel at my shop, and family. I am not sure that I blinked, but damned if the week isn’t over and rolling into the next with my pile of to-do’s procreating like bunnies.

Did you get to relax this weekend? Make up elaborate stories of vacation and including copious amounts of alcohol so I can live vicariously through you. ;D

We just got back from a camel-packed vacation to Morocco! Lots of tagines and mint tea too. And don’t worry, it’s only the beginning of summer! Lots of fun left to have! Now I want this fruit salad, but I have nothing but carrots in my fridge.

This fruit salad looks wonderful! My kids would eat this up! Sounds like you had a very busy weekend, things are crazy here too. Sadly, they don’t look like they are calming down anytime soon :(

Even though your weekend was crazy it sounds so fun! Mine was packed with shushing a crying baby. This salad looks so refreshing and perfect for these 90 degree temps I’m already experiencing.

This is a spectacular salad. It has color, texture and taste. And it’s simple to make.
The honey-lime-mint-syrup is a party on the toungue. I served this to four couples,
and everyone asked for the recipe.
