Cook pasta according to package directions, reserving 1 cup of cooking liquid. Drain and keep pasta warm. Drain tomatoes and reserve 2 teaspoons of tomato oil; slice tomatoes.
In a large Dutch oven over medium heat, cook sliced tomatoes, reserved tomato oil, onion, and sausage for 10 minutes until the sausage is browned, breaking it apart. Add garlic and cook for another minute. Stir in seasoning, pepper, and broth. Add kale, cover, and simmer for 5 minutes until the kale is tender.
Stir in the cooked pasta, reserved cooking liquid, and beans to complete the dish.
