1 hour 35 minutes
Serves: 8

Ingredients

  • 8 oz plain chevre cheese
  • 8 oz herb chevre cheese
  • 2 garlic cloves - minced
  • ¾ cup white wine
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon dried sage

Instructions

  • Let the cheese rest at room temp for 30 minutes. Slice and place in slow cooker.
  • In a skillet over medium heat cook the garlic with the wine until the garlic begins to brown and wine has cooked down a bit. About 7 to 10 minutes.
  • Add the garlic, wine, heavy cream, sage and pepper to the cheese in the slow cooker and stir to combine.
  • Put on low heat and let the cheese melt, stirring every now and then until completely melted and smooth. About 1 hour.

I don't think I'd be able to share this. I might even make it during the day when everyone's at work so I can hoard it all for myself.

Goat cheese is my most favorite thing on planet earth. I could eat it daily if I could 🙂 I have never thought of turning it into fondu (why I don't know) but I have a feeling next stay at home date night will be showcasing this recipe.
