Today’s patty o’ awesome was inspired by the fresh crisp pickles from Farmer’s Garden and a craving for something a little bolder, a little bigger and very, very messy. This epic burger creation is a Cajun spiced all beef patty with spicy grilled shrimp topped with shredded lettuce, tomato and a zesty remoulade sauce. It’s a Shrimp Po Boy Burger that will make anything less look like it forgot to take its vitamins. What You Need

  • Grilling Tools
  • Whisk
  • Small Bowl

Ingredients

  • Mayonnaise
  • Chipotle Hot Sauce
  • Cajun Seasoning
  • Chipotle Mustard
  • Worcestershire Sauce
  • Garlic
  • Farmer's Garden Pickles
  • Ground Beef
  • Shrimp

How to Make this Shrimp Po Boy Recipe

  1. Whisk the mayo, hot sauce, Cajun seasoning, chipotle mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic clove and minced Farmer's Garden pickles in a small bowl. Cover and chill until ready to use.
  2. When ready to grill, preheat the grill to medium-high and grease the grill grate.
  3. Mix the ground beef with Cajun seasoning and the remaining Worcestershire sauce.
  4. Form into 6 patties with an indent in the center from your thumb to avoid poofy patties on the grill.
  5. Skewer the shrimp onto grilling skewers and season with the remaining Cajun seasoning.
  6. Grill the patties for 5 to 8 minutes, flipping once halfway through, until cooked to the desired temp. Remove from grill and cover with foil to keep warm.
  7. Grill the shrimp for 3 to 4 minutes, flipping once halfway through until cooked through. Remove shrimp from skewers carefully.
  8. Serve the burgers on toasted buns topped with tomato, lettuce, shrimp and a heaping dollop of remoulade sauce.

  • Use a thermometer for desired level of doneness
  • Flipping your burger often helps it cook more evenly

      How do I store leftover Shrimp Po Boy?

Store extra burger patties and shrimp separately in the refrigerator. Leftovers should be consumed within 3-4 days.

Reheating Your Po Boy

To reheat in the oven or air fryer, layout on a cooking tray and warm for 10-15 minutes at 350. You can also nuke in the microwave but the shrimp may get a bit tough.

Shrimp Po Boy Burgers

Ingredients

  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • ½ teaspoon chipotle hot sauce
  • 2 teaspoon Cajun seasoning - plus 2 tbsp
  • 2 teaspoon chipotle mustard
  • 2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce - plus 2 tbsp

  • 1.5 lbs ground beef
  • 1 lbs shrimp - peeled and deveined
  • 6 Toasted buns - shredded lettuce, and sliced tomato for serving

Instructions

  • Whisk the mayo, hot sauce, 2 teas Cajun seasoning, chipotle mustard, 2 teas Worcestershire sauce, garlic clove, and minced Farmer's Garden pickles in a small bowl. Cover and chill until ready to use.

  • Mix the ground beef with 1 tbs Cajun seasoning and remaining 2 tbs Worcestershire sauce.
